Inspired by my teachers, peers and students, my main focus in each class I teach is safe alignment and to get in touch with your own intuitive movement. I use descriptive cues to guide my students through challenging transitions and into progressively more intense asanas. Expect detailed instructions, pranayama exercises and positive affirmations to heighten self awareness and increase the benefits of each posture. I aim to guide each student through a transformational yoga experience that leaves them feeling successful, renewed and empowered.

Bree Koenig, E-RYT 500
Bree has nearly 2 decades of teaching experience in the Orange County yoga community and is passionate about sharing the healing benefits with others.
Bree originally found yoga after many years of dancing and gymnastics, the practice came naturally to her. Bree teaches a wide variety of offerings; vinyasa, gentle yoga, yin, restorative, sculpt and paddle board yoga. If you have the interest, Bree has the experience!
Bree teaches a strong and mindful class focused on alignment, safety and personal exploration through progressive transitions that lead to body awareness, mental clarity, physical stamina and gentle strength. Her classes are artfully crafted with music, theme work, meditation and breath work that supports the understanding of yogic philosophy.
Bree received her initial 200hr certification in 2007 through Yoga Works, she has continued to further her knowledge and dedication to personal development, receiving specialty training in areas of restorative yoga, yin, bikram and hot power fusion. Most recently Bree received her 300hr advanced certification through Awakened Life School of Yoga in 2017.
Bree developed the I Heart Yoga 200hr teacher training program in 2015 and continues to act as lead trainer in the program. Her commitment to the growth and development of her students skill set both on the mat and in the world is remarkable and inspiring. Bree looks forward to connecting with and offering an experience that will leave you feeling inspired, empowered and renewed.
